While calling someone “Daddy” might have a little sex appeal behind it — remember “Big Poppa” by Biggie Smalls? — Rihanna’s nickname for Chris is more of a reminder that he needs to keep his focus on his baby girl. “She nicknamed him that to reinforce to him that [being a dad] is his number one responsibility,” the insider tells HollywoodLife.com. “She doesn’t want him to ever forget that or be distracted. He’s Daddy for life, now that he has a child.”
Well, Chris seems to be taking his “Daddy” role seriously. He was smiling from ear to ear when he reunited with Royalty on Aug. 22.
