After years of on-again, off-again drama, Nina Dobrev and Ian Somerhalder got back together last month…then broke up again, seemingly for good this time.
Just yesterday, it was reported that Nina is dating Dominic Howard in an effort to make her ex and Vampire Diaries co-star jealous.
Well, if Somerhalder wasn’t crazy about the idea of Dobrev getting intimate with Muse singer Howard, he certainly won’t like the news about Nina in the latest issue of Star magazine:
The tabloid claims that Nina is dating actor James Marsden. Worse, still, for Somerhalder, Star‘s sources say that the new couple is moving very quickly and Nina is already getting serious about James.
At 40, Marsden is considerably older than the 25-year-old Dobrev and he’s already divorced with three children.
Still, unlike both Dobrev and Somerhalder, Marsden is a bona fide star in Hollywood, filming several movies a year, rather than clinging to a long-running CW series for fame.
Insiders say Nina is hoping to make it on the big screen and a relationship with James could certainly be beneficial. So yeah, we’d be worried if we were in Somerhalder’s shoes.
