Tensions at a college basketball game were running high as the boys continued to play hard right until that final buzzer.

But the physical roughness didn't stop on the court at the Indiana University stadium Saturday as fans started a stampede when the home-team Hoosiers beat the Kentucky Wildcats by a point.

Adding drama to the trauma, Playboy model Megan Dills was trampled in the crowd, spraining her ankle and forcing her to cancel an upcoming photoshoot.

'All those fans came out of their seats and rushed the floor like idiots,' Ms Dills told VaughstViews.com, a Kentucky sports blog.

Not only was Ms Dills physically injured, but her pride took a hit too- an alum of the University of Kentucky, she was disappointed when her team lost 72-73 in the final seconds.

Ms Dills was first featured on the pages of the famous lad-mag in 2007 when she participated in the Girls Of The SEC pictorial, dedicated to the students of universities in the South eastern basketball Conference.

According to the model, the game was harried even before those final fearful moments.

'You couldn't hear yourself think, much less scream for UK (University of Kentucky),' she told the site.

'There was a girl two rows behind me that said, "Sit your blond — down." I turned around and probably said some not so nice things myself back. But it was a good time, or at least it was until the end.'

Though she may have said a bad thing or two at the time, don't think that poor manners are rampant at her alma mater, as Ms Dills put all the fault on the opposing (winning) team.

'We have higher expectations for our boys and school to live up to. What happened up there would never happen at Kentucky. They were so distasteful and not very sportsmanlike,' she said.

'I just see us as different than other schools. Basketball really is like a religion and we respect the game. You would not have to leave a game in fear like you did Indiana.

'Besides, if Kentucky had played to half of its potential, IUwould be singing another song today,' she concluded.
