Williams was born in 1972 in the United States. There is no information about his parents except for his brother, Rick. Lyzel attended the Forestville senior school and graduated in 1989. After school, Lyzel enrolled at the Art Institute of Philadelphia where he studied graphic design. Williams loved music as a kid and so whiles designing learned more about how to be a DJ.
He worked as a senior graphics and interface designer at Intermedia Interactive Software company from 1993 to 2001. Whiles there, he was also the graphic artist at the Philadelphia Tribune from 1994 to 1995.
