IF you are a fan of Thierry Mugler’s Alien perfume, you may be able to pick up a bargain dupe for a fraction of the price.

While the popular Alien scent will set you back around £65, a shopper has claimed to have found a near-identical replica for just £3.99.

The bargain hunter took to Facebook to show how they found a £3.99 bottle in their local B&M that smelled extremely similar to Alien.

They hailed it as a bargain “dupe” and shared a photo of the packaging, which looked very similar to Alien’s striking purple design.

The B&M scent is their Exotic Affair Eau de Toilette, which is said to be a “luxurious blend of Jasmine, Cashmeran and Amber.”

Meanwhile, Alien is described as having top notes of “Jasmine Sambac”, with heart notes of “Cashmeran Wood”, base notes of “White Amber” and an overall “woody” fragrance.

Meanwhile, another shopper has been singing the praises of a £7 Primark perfume - claiming it also smells just like the Alien scent.

The beauty lover shared the dupe with fellow bargain hunters after bagging PS’ Amethyst Haze Eau De Parfum on a recent shopping trip.

Once she’d spitzed it at home, the impressed shopper took to Facebook’s Extreme Couponing and Bargains UK to reveal all about her find.

Posting a snap of the perfume, which comes in a simple purple bottle with a large lilac lid, the shopper called Jenny wrote: “£7 for 100ml in Primark and it smells exactly like Alien!!”

The shopper then went on to say that while she expected the scent would fade quicker than Alien, it was still well worth a buy and could help save money in the long run.

She continued: “The scent probably won’t last as long but for £7 you could have one at home, one in your bag, one at work, one in the car etc etc and it would still be cheaper than the original.”
